Mums and grandmas alike brought their young ladies to tea at the Petroleum Club, the better to be charm-schooled by Grace Notes’ Jan Swift and Lynley Jones. There was no shortage of small fry and dainties to practice with, and Jones preached the message hard. “The way you behave on the outside is a reflection of who you are on the inside,” she told her audience. “And rules help us all behave.” Among those behaving their best were Anniston and Lauren Vincent, Chris Preis, Madeline Thibodeaux, Meghan Colomb, Emelise Lalonde, Cheryl and Rebecca Guidry, and Ali and Ella Cantrell. Grace Notes is an etiquette endeavor to further society’s niceties, and we’re all for that.
