Hearing delayed on public records case involving Lafayette City Marshal _lowres

The 15th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is investigating a complaint filed against Lafayette City Marshal Brian Pope, KATC-TV is reporting

District Attorney Keith Stutes told the television station he cannot give details on the complaint, but he did confirm there is an investigation.

The complaint comes after Pope was sentenced to seven days of house arrest and pay almost $100,000 in fines and court costs for withholding public records The Independent sought.
