The Junior League of Lafayette recently awarded $135,000 in grants to community programs that support the well-being of women and the healthy development of children.

In addition to financial support, Junior League of Lafayette provides volunteer resources to many of the organizations to help with their programs and assist them in implementing grants.

Grant recipients included: Acadian Middle School, Acadiana Center for the Arts, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana, Boys and Girls Club of Acadiana, Camp Bon Coeur, Catholic Services of Acadiana, Christian Youth Theatre, EarthShare Gardens, Faith House of Acadiana, Girl Scouts of Louisiana-Pines to the Gulf, Junior Achievement of Acadiana, Lafayette Animal Aid, Lafayette Community Healthcare Clinic, Lafayette Education Foundation, Lafayette Parish Bar Foundation, Lafayette Parish School System, Lafayette Young Lawyers Association, Second Harvest Food Bank, the Family Tree, Trafficking Hope and United Way of Acadiana.
