Bill Cosby is scheduled to perform his comedy act in at the Heymann Performing Arts Center in Lafayette on Feb. 27, one of 23 upcoming performances in 21 cities listed on his website.

Despite more than a dozen sexual assault allegations made against Cosby in recent months, he resumed performing Wednesday night in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It was his first performance since November.

A small group of protesters stood in frigid temperatures in Kitchener, holding signs and heckling Cosby fans outside of the theater, The Associated Press reported.

Inside the theater, Cosby received a standing ovation from his Canadian audience. During the performance, the AP reported, frequent laughter filled the hall, and there were no interruptions.

Several of Cosby’s U.S. shows were canceled after months of allegations that the now-73-year-old Cosby drugged and assaulted women over a period of decades.
