Hawk’s Boil Up hosts its season finale crawfish boil Sunday from noon until 6 p.m. in downtown Lafayette.
The event is at Jefferson Street Pub at 500 Jefferson St., with the first live music act, the Boil Up Boilers, starting at 1 p.m. Horace Trahan and Pine Leaf Boys will begin playing music at 3 p.m.
Advanced tickets are available at eventbrite.com for $45, which pays for three pounds of crawfish, corn, potato and dip. The fee also pays for unlimited draft beer, as long as the person imbibing is at least 21 and can show an ID. The ticket includes a poster commemorating the event.
Tickets at the door are $35, which gets the buyer three pounds of crawfish, and the corn, potato and dip.
New Iberia farmers market
Vendors at the Teche Area Farmers Market this week offer visitors homegrown produce and items for sale by artisans and craftsmen.
The market is open Tuesdays 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. in Bouligny Plaza at 102 West Main St., New Iberia.
For sale will be hand-made cypress yard objects, home-made bread and fresh baked goods, ceramics, honey, jellies, jams, herbs, candies, handcrafted wooden bowls and utensils, birdhouses, garden benches and more.
There is no charge to enter the market.
Wine tasting and pâtés
Whole Foods Market is hosting its Rosé and Pâté event Wednesday inside the store located at 4247 Ambassador Caffery Parkway.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., organizers will offer wines from Italy, Spain, France and Argentina, pairing each with pâtés.
Entry is $10, and attendees must be 21 or older.
‘Big Daddy’s Last Dance’
Cité des Arts will continue the comedy “Big Daddy’s Last Dance” this week, with shows running Thursday through Sunday.
Set in fictional “Crotch Springs,” it’s about when a rich family’s patriarch, named “Big Daddy Boteaux,” dies and the heirs’ greed comes into play.
Play times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. showing on Sunday.

Tabasco cooking classes
Tabasco 1868 restaurant on Avery Island is offering cooking classes Tuesdays and Thursdays starting at 1 p.m.

Memorial Day fun
New Iberia will hold a Memorial Day celebration Sunday at Cajun RVera beginning at 10 a.m.
Other Memorial Day celebrations will be held Friday at 6 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
The price to enter is $10 to $20.
