LAFAYETTE — The Iberia Parish library hosts two sessions this week that are free and open to the public.

At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Peter Library, computer forensic examiner Aimee Cahanin will offer a presentation on how to protect against cyber threats.

Because of the nature of the presentation, it is recommended that attendees be 15 years or older.

At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, David Palmer of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s anthropology department will discuss recent findings about the Marsh House Slave Quarters on Avery Island.

For more information or to register for either event, call the Main Library branch at (337) 364-7024.
