The 15th Judicial District Attorney’s office has declined to pursue charges against Jevon Noah Figaro, 18, who was booked last year on counts of illegal carrying of a weapon and illegal use of a weapon.

Figaro, of Lafayette, was accused in a March 29, 2015, shooting in the 200 block of Grossie Drive that left a 17-year-old girl injured.

The District’s Attorney’s Office said the charges were refused due to insufficient evidence.
