Festival International de Louisiane launched a search for a new leader this week following the resignation last month of former director Missy Paschke-Wood.

Applications will be accepted online through Sept. 30 at festivalinternational.org.

Paschke-Wood, who had served as director of the downtown international music and arts festival since October 2013, resigned on Aug. 10.

No reason was given for her departure, but Festival International Board President Scott Feehan has said the parting was amicable and that she agreed to work with the festival through the transition. Feehan has been serving as interim director.
