The Paul and Lulu Hilliard University Art Museum presents the Second annual Acadiana Wine & Food Festival on Friday and Saturday.
The festival begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a champagne reception in the museum, followed by seating for the six-course Joie du Vin Dinner at 7:30 p.m.
Featured chefs include: Justin Girouard, The French Press; Craig Crosby, Pamplona Tapas Bar; Holly Goeting, Charley G’s; Kyle Waters, Cochon; and Cold Patin, Louisiana Culinary Institute, Baton Rouge.
The festival will feature the Grand Tasting from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
Festival guests will stroll the grounds of the Art Museum while dining on the finest food Acadiana has to offer and sipping world-class wines.
Tickets for the Grand Tasting are $65 each or $85 for a VIP pass that provides a preview entry at 5 p.m. and participation in the cocktails presentation.

Boudin Cook-Off winners
Twenty-two teams competed for title of the maker of Louisiana’s best boudin during the Fourth annual Boudin Cook-Off in downtown Lafayette on Saturday.
The annual event benefits the Historic Preservation Alliance of Lafayette.
Winners for traditional boudin were: Early’s Supermarket, Scott, first place; NuNu’s, Youngsville and Milton, second place; and Deshotels, Ville Platte, third place.
Winners for specialty boudin were: Early’s Supermarket, Scott, first place; NuNu’s, Youngsville and Milton, second place; Earl’s Cajun Market, Lafayette, third place.
Winners for unlinked boudin were: NuNu’s, Youngsville and Milton, first place; Richard’s Meat Market, Abbeville, second place; Chop’s Meat Market, Broussard, third place.
Winners for People’s Choice were: T-Boy’s Boudin and Cracklin, Mamou and Eunice, first place; NuNu’s, Youngsville and Milton, second place.
Ville Platte Centennial
Evangeline Parish will celebrate its 100th birthday Saturday at the courthouse square in Ville Platte.
The daylong centennial celebration will feature bands, Cajun food, vendors of all types and the unveiling of the statue of Evangeline, which is scheduled for noon.
