Lafayette philanthropist and Hub City Ford business owner Marcelle Citron has died. She was 91.
Citron passed away Saturday at her residence in Lafayette, surrounded by family.
The New Orleans native had a list of accolades under her belt. She founded the nonprofit FoodNet Food Bank of Lafayette in 1987, and helped start Faith House, a domestic violence crisis center, and Project Rx, which provides prescription medications for those who don't have the means to obtain them.
