High school and college drum and bugle corps from across the country will perform at 7 p.m. July 21 for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s Drums Across Cajun Field event.
It is the main fundraiser for UL-Lafayette’s Pride of Acadiana Marching Band.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $27 the day of the show.
Discounted tickets of $18 per person are available for groups of 20 or more.

The Iberia Performing Arts League will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” on Thursday through Sunday beginning July 17 and July 24 at the Essanee Theater in downtown New Iberia.
The Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday shows begin at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $10.
The Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics Celebration is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette.
The festivities will include music, food and drink, a silent auction, raffles and a chance to meet University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s coaching staff.
Admission is $150 for two people.
Proceeds are used to help recruit and keep UL-Lafayette coaches.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana will host its annual “Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre” and auction fundraiser.
Shows are set for 7 p.m. Aug. 8-9.

Upper Lafayette meets
The Upper Lafayette Economic Development Foundation will meet Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Petroleum Club in Lafayette.
Panelists at the luncheon will speak about efforts to move forward with Lafayette’s recently adopted comprehensive plan for growth and development.
