A Broussard man who spent seven months in jail after pleading guilty to vehicular homicide in January 2014 was charged Wednesday with third-offense OWI from an arrest in April.

Dallas Fabre, 51, was also charged with careless operation and driving left of center, according to the bill of information filed by prosecutor.

Fabre showed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and glazed eyes, on April 17 when Lafayette police responded to a crash in the 800 block of E. Main Street, according to police reports.
