Dining out at select restaurants across Lafayette on Thursday will help feed those served by St. Joseph Diner, the city’s sole place where the homeless and hungry can receive a free meal.

The diner shares more than 100,000 meals with the hungry, according to information on the website of Catholic Services of Acadiana, the nonprofit that manages the diner.

Participating restaurants include: Another Broken Egg Cafe; Antoni’s Italian Cafe; Bailey’s Seafood & Grill; Bisbano’s; BJ’s Pizza & Deli; Black Cafe; Blanchard’s BBQ; Bon Temps Grill; Cakin’ to the Streets; Charley G’s; Chef Gregory Food Truck; Chris’ Poboys locations at Ambassador Caffery, Moss Street and Pinhook Road; Dean-O’s; Dean-O’s South; Ema’s Cafe; Fat Pat’s locations on Verot Road and Westmark; Great Harvest of Acadiana; Hub City Diner; iMonelli; La Carretta; La Pizzeria; Lagneaux’s; Olde Tyme Grocery; Pop’s Poboys; Renaissance Market and Brasserie; Social Southern Table & Bar; The Lab Handcrafted Coffees & Comforts; Tsunami Sushi Lafayette; Rusted Rooster on St. Landry; and Viva La Waffle.
