Lafayette General Urgent Care is allowing patients to get in line, virtually speaking, before arriving at one of three facilities via online reservations.

Patients can reserve times from 9 a.m. to one hour before closing. Online reservations are available at or the Lafayette General mobile app. Staff members are available to communicate with patients by text message ahead of scheduled reservations.

Such reservations are not for “life threatening, debilitating or emergent medical conditions,” according to a news release.

Reservations also are not necessary to be seen at urgent care centers, and the Lafayette General mobile app allows patients to see approximate wait times prior to walking in for treatment.

The three Lafayette General urgent care centers are open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays; and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. The centers are closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The three locations are:

• 1216 Camelia Blvd., Lafayette

• 2810 Bonin Rd., Youngsville

• 917 W. Gloria Switch Rd., Carencro
