A Lafayette woman arrested Wednesday is accused of stealing personal information from more than 13,000 Medicaid recipients in attempt to defraud the program.
Keisha Robinson, 43, of 507 Fox Run Ave., was booked into the Lafayette Parish jail on one count each of identity theft, computer fraud and criminal conspiracy to commit Medicaid fraud, according to a news release from the Attorney General’s Office.
Robinson stole information from Louisiana Healthcare Connections, a Louisiana managed care organization, the news release states.
The AG’s office did not specify how Robinson got access to the information. Robinson remained in jail on Wednesday evening without bail.
