CROWLEY - Police have captured a 22-year-old Crowley man accused of shooting his estranged girlfriend multiple times early Tuesday morning.

Patrick Guillory was arrested within the city limits of Crowley shortly after noon Tuesday, said Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson.

Guillory was arrested without incident and was taken to the Acadia Parish Jail for booking, the police chief said.

The victim remains in critical condition and is believed to be about 3 months pregnant, Gibson said.

?However, apparently, the fetus was not injured in the shooting, Gibson said.

Arrest warrants have been obtained for Guillory on counts of attempted first-degree murder, home invasion, aggravated battery and violation of a restraining order, according to a news release. The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. in the 1800 block of JD Miller Drive, the release said.

Police said Guillory forced his way into the victim’s residence. A family member intervened, but Guillory chased the victim outside, where he shot her multiple times, police said in the release.
