An armed man stole money from a New Iberia cash-advance business Tuesday morning, according to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The robber entered Approved Cash Advance at 902 S. Lewis St. around 8:41 a.m. and brandished a gun, demanded money and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The robber wore overalls and covered his face with a black scarf, but no additional details about his appearance were released.
Approved Cash Advance does payday and title loans and cashes checks, according to its website.
