A Crowley man accused in a late Tuesday hit-and-run that killed a Rayne teenager is now wanted for murder, the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

Landricy Robinson, 25, of the 400 block of Josey Street, is accused of running over 16-year-old Antoinette Rochon and hitting two others shortly before midnight at The Meadows apartment complex in Crowley, said Maxine Trahan, Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

Rochon was declared dead at Acadia General Hospital, where the other victims were treated for non-life threatening injuries, Trahan said.

Robinson was leaving the scene of a fight when he hit the three people, Trahan said. He’s wanted on one count of second-degree murder in Rochon’s death and on two counts of attempted second-degree murder in hitting the two other victims, Trahan said.
