Police are still seeking information on the whereabouts of a Lafayette man suspected in an October shooting on East Simcoe Street, according to a news release from the Lafayette Police Department.

Terrence J. Augustine, 28, is wanted for attempted second-degree murder in the shooting in the 900 block of East Simcoe Street, in which a 34-year-old man was shot once in the hand and twice in the chest, said Cpl. Paul Mouton, Lafayette Police spokesman.

Police believe Augustine is still in the Lafayette area, Mouton said.
