Lafayette officers arrested a 35-year-old man Wednesday accused of firing multiple shots into a crowd of men getting haircuts outside a Hilda Street home.

Kenyatta Edmond of Lafayette was booked on one count each of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to booking records.

Edmond is accused of shooting at a 19-year-old man standing among a group getting haircuts outside a home in the 400 block of Hilda Street, the Lafayette Police Department said in a news release. No one was injured, police said.
