Two Crowley men arrested Thursday are accused of wielding a crowbar last weekend to steal a safe from a sex novelty shop, according to the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Austin Ryan Snow, 36, of the 400 block of East Ash Street, and Dustin James Aguillard, 26, of the 300 block of East Oak Street, are accused of armed robbery with a dangerous weapon in the Feb. 14 crime, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office.

Both were booked into the Acadia Parish jail and remained there Thursday afternoon in lieu of $200,000 bail.

The Sheriff’s Office said Snow and Aguillard stole the safe from Acadiana’s Adult Superstore in Crowley.

It’s the second armed robbery at the store in recent months. A man armed with a gun demanded cash from a store employee in September.
