Prosecutors will not file charges against one of four former Lafayette Parish deputies accused of beating an inmate last year, KATC-TV reported.

Adrian Theriot, 29, was accused of malfeasance and second-degree battery for allegedly watching two other deputies beat 41-year-old Jason Brungardt and failing to prevent it or report the April 2014 incident to superiors.
