Lafayette Police say someone in a small, silver four-door car shot at a group of people early Thursday, injuring two teenagers in the foot, near the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and North St. Antoine Street.

The 16-year-old and 18-year-old male victims were treated at an area hospital and released, Lafayette Police said. The two were standing with a group of several males and females in the 100 block of Delahoussaye Drive at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the shooter’s identity is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department or the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at (337) 232-8477.
