Police and state regulators in Lafayette on Friday issued 11 summonses to underage bar patrons who were consuming alcohol.

Two summonses were issued to patrons under the legal drinking age of 21 at Daiquiris Supreme, while another two were issued at The Bulldog and seven more at Jefferson Street Pub, according to a news release from the Lafayette Police Department.

The state Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control also participated in the operation.

Of the 15 bars checked during the operation, 12 were found to have no violators, including Frozen Sun Daiquiris; Prime; NiteTown; Marley’s; Dix Daiquiris; The Green Room; The Office; City Bar; and two locations of Legends on Johnston Street, along with its Jefferson Street and Verot School Road locations, the release stated.
