A motorist who lost control of his car on Interstate 10 near Crowley on Saturday died in the wreck but his passenger survived, State Police said.
Kori Sarver, 26, Crowley, was eastbound on I-10 about 6:20 p.m. Saturday when his 1999 Mustang shot off the road to the right and rolled over, Trooper First Class Stephen Hammons said Sunday in a news release.
Sarver, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
His passenger, Michael Adams, 24, Crowley, also was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries, the release says.
It is unknown of impairment was a factor. However, toxicology samples were taken for analysis, Hammons said.
