A second man wanted by the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office in the June stabbing death of Cory Sonnier has been arrested in Georgia, officials said in a news release Tuesday.

Authorities arrested David James Anderson, 19, of Lafayette late last night in Cook County, Ga. Anderson was wanted on one count of obstruction of justice to first-degree murder in Sonnier’s death, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Sonnier’s body was discovered at the Lake Martin Boat Landing in St. Martin Parish on June 24.

Meanwhile, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office has already extradited Patrick Paul George, 41, also of Lafayette, back to St. Martin Parish. George was arrested July 8 in Valdosta, Ga., on a count of obstruction of justice to first-degree murder count, according to the release.
