Lafayette police are looking for three men who robbed a woman at gunpoint at an apartment complex on South Beadle Road on Tuesday night.

The victim had just parked her car at 8:20 p.m. when she heard, “Give me what you got,” according to Lafayette Police Department spokesman Cpl. Paul Mouton.

The woman told police a man with dreadlocks who looked to be around 18 was standing outside her driver’s door window pointing a gun at her, Mouton said.

On the passenger side and in the rear of the car stood two more men, one of them wearing a bright orange shirt. All three fled on foot after the woman gave up her purse. She was not injured, Mouton said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lafayette police or Crime Stoppers at (337) 232-TIPS.
