Police on Thursday issued a first-degree murder warrant for a Gramercy man wanted in a Monday shooting death at a Lafayette apartment complex.

Kendrick Anthony Fobb, 28, is accused of killing Christopher Isaac, 51, at his apartment in the 200 block of Duval Street, according to the Lafayette Police Department.

Police are also searching for Dontae Roy, 34, of Lake Charles, who’s wanted on a count of principal to first-degree murder, police said.

Another man, 33-year-old Albert Sampy, of Lafayette, was arrested Wednesday on the same count. Sampy remained in the Lafayette Parish jail Thursday evening. Bail had not been set.

Police said someone knocked on Isaac’s door around 2:25 a.m. Monday, and when Isaac answered, the two had some sort of confrontation before the shooter fired once and ran away.

Anyone with information about Fobb’s or Roy’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Lafayette Police Department or the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at (337) 232-8477.
