The suspect wanted in the Oct. 8 shooting death of a Four Corners man was arrested early Thursday by Port Arthur, Texas, police officials said.

Henderson Wesley was arrested on a warrant and is being held on a count of second-degree murder in the killing of Ronald Chillis, Jr., who was shot in the chest several times, St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Traci Landry said.

Chillis, 32, was shot at a home on Ronald Lane at 3:41 p.m. and was pronounced dead at Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Wesley, whose age was not released Thursday, was located following investigations by the U.S. Marshal’s Office in Lafayette and Beaumont, Texas, Landry said.
