Authorities are attempting to identify two men accused of using a stolen credit card to purchase more than $1,300 worth of goods, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office said.

The men were captured on video in late January purchasing around $380 worth of cigarettes at two convenience stores on the Evangeline Thruway and University Avenue in Lafayette, said Capt. John Babin, Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

Additional purchases totaling around $1,300 were made on the card in Lafayette and Broussard, Babin said.

The two men are wanted on 17 counts of unauthorized use of an access card.

Anyone with information on their identities is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division at (337) 236-5642.
