A Crowley man accused in a December 2014 shooting was arrested this week in the crime.
Acadia Parish Sheriff’s deputies located Darnell J. Anderson, 30, in Arkansas and returned him to the parish on Tuesday on a count of attempted first-degree murder, the Crowley Police Department announced in a Friday news release.
The shooting happened Dec. 13, 2014, in the 900 block of Ross Avenue, when an assailant opened fire into a vehicle and struck a man in the shoulder, police said. The victim survived his injuries.
Anderson remained in the Acadia Parish jail on Friday evening in lieu of a $250,000 bail.
