Lafayette Police are searching for a robber who struck the Piccadilly restaurant on Arnould Boulevard Monday morning.

Employees told detectives that a man entered the restaurant about 9:05 a.m., loitered in the lobby for several minutes and then pulled out a pistol and demanded money, according to news release from the Lafayette Police Department.

Police said the robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.
