A man, his two children and his mother were killed late Thursday night after a fire tore through their home in the 600 block of Bill Belt Road, authorities said.

Stanley Charrier, 32, perished in the fire, as did his 62-year-old mother, Catherine Charrier, his 9-year-old son, Carlin, and his 12-year-old stepdaughter, Emily Graham, the State Fire Marshal’s Office reported in a news release stated.

Stanley’s wife and the children’s mother, Monique Charrier, was at work at the time of the fire, which happened after 11 p.m. Thursday night, according to the Marshal’s Office.

Investigators remained on the scene Friday morning working to determine what caused the fire, the Marshal’s Office said.
