Photo provided by BROUSSARD POLICE DEPARTMENT -- Police say two men fled in this vehicle after robbing two ATM containers filled with cash on the morning of June 24, 2015, as two Community First Bank employees restocked the Albertson Parkway machine.

Police are searching for two men who on Wednesday morning robbed two ATM containers filled with cash as the bank employees refilled the machine on Albertson Parkway.

One of the robbers, who brandished a handgun in the robbery, is described as a heavyset black man standing about 5-feet 8-inches tall. He was wearing black sweatpants and a black, hooded sweater with gray adornments in the chest area, Broussard Police Chief Brannon Decou said. The employees described his voice as husky.

A description was not obtained for the second man, who stayed farther behind during the robbery of Community First Bank and entered the passenger seat of a light-colored, four-door car as the other man drove them from the scene and east on Ridgeview Drive, Decou said.

Anyone with information on the incident or the men involved is asked to call the Broussard Police Department at (337) 837-6259 or the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at (337) 232-TIPS.
