Update: The Louisiana State Police cancelled this alert after the boy was found safe in Houston, Texas.

The Louisiana State Police issued an alert Friday night for a missing toddler last seen on Oct. 16 in Calcasieu Parish.

Authorities believe Freeman Travis Powers-Messina, age one and a half, is traveling with his biological mother, Crystal Rivera, in a light gray or silver 2008 Dodge Caliber with Texas license plate, BD9W689, State Police Master Trooper Brooks David said in a news release.

Powers-Messina, last seen on Houston River Road in Westlake, may be in “imminent danger,” said David, who urged the public to contact the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 491-3605, Sgt. Stacey Pearson of the Louisiana Clearinghouse for Missing & Exploited Children at (337) 962-2605, or 9-1-1 with any information about the case.
