A drive-by shooting in Lafayette Wednesday night left two men injured.

A 19-year-old was shot in the leg and a 17-year-old in the ankle after a dark-colored SUV drove by and opened fire on the two around 8:30 p.m., Lafayette police said. The men were walking near the intersection of Ena and North St. Antoine Streets.

Police recovered empty casings at the scene, where a vehicle and two homes were also struck by bullets, Lafayette Police spokesman Cpl. Paul Mouton said in a news release.

The shooting remains under investigation.
