Crowley man surrenders in hit-and-run fatality _lowres

A Crowley man wanted in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a Rayne teenager and injured two others surrendered to authorities Friday.

Landricy Robinson, 25, of the 400 block of Josey Street, was booked on a count of second-degree murder and two counts of attempted second-degree murder in the Tuesday death of 16-year-old Antoinette Rochon and the injuring of two others from Rayne, said Maxine Trahan, Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.

Robinson was leaving the scene of a fight at The Meadows apartment complex in Crowley when he sped off, hitting the three victims, Trahan said.

Robinson remained in the Acadia Parish jail Friday afternoon in lieu of a $300,000 bail.
