Investigators are searching for the man who robbed a convenience store clerk with a knife on Sunday, according to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The robber entered Myer’s Quick Stop on Grand Point Highway about 4 a.m., brandishing a knife and demanded money, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The robber is described as a black man about 6 feet, 1 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He wore a turquoise and white dress on top of a black, long-sleeved shirt with white lettering, the Sheriff’s Office said. The man also wore a black head wrap and fled the scene on foot.
