Police on Tuesday morning arrested a 75-year-old Lafayette Parish man who traded gunshots with his son over a property dispute, according to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s office.
Joseph Faul, of the 700 block of Wyman Road near Scott, was booked on a count of attempted second-degree murder in the shooting, said Capt. John Babin, Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
Faul and his son, whose name has not been released, fired a single shot at one another around 7:54 a.m., Babin said.
Neither man was injured in the incident, Babin said.
