Crowley narcotics officers seized 66 grams of crack and arrested a man while conducting a search warrant earlier this week, according to the Crowley Police Department.
Police on Tuesday arrested Charlie Evans Jr., 36, of Crowley, after watching his home for several months, Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson announced Thursday in a press release.
Police had been investigating the home at 521 Western Ave. on suspicion of drug sales, Gibson said.
Evans was booked on counts of possession with intent to distribute crack-cocaine and possession of cash derived from drug proceeds. He remained in the Acadia Parish jail on Thursday afternoon in lieu of a $85,000 bail.
