Two people who were at once part of widespread child trafficking investigation both pleaded guilty in state district court in Lafayette on Monday to a reduced charges of promoting prostitution, according to a KATC-TV report.

Darneesha Martin and Alcoby Lasalle were originally facing charges of promoting prostitution and child trafficking.

In December, State Police said that of three juveniles rescued during the investigation, two were in Martin’s possession.
