LAFAYETTE — Lafayette police are searching for Bryson Glenn Hayward Hudson, who is suspected in the Wednesday morning shooting of a 25-year-old Lafayette man.

Police said Hudson, 19, shot at the man twice during two separate incidents. The first shooting occurred about 3:45 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Sterling, according to a news release.

Hudson allegedly fired multiple shots at the man, missing him, police said.

At about 6 a.m., Hudson approached the victim a second time in the 500 block of 14th Street, the release said.

Police said Hudson pulled a gun during the argument and fired multiple shots, striking the man in the hip and left leg, police said.

The man was treated and released at a local hospital.

Hudson fled the area on a bicycle. Police later found his bicycle at a residence on Radcliffe Drive, but Hudson was not inside, police said.

Hudson is wanted on counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and attempted second-degree murder.
