Police on Friday arrested a Lafayette man accused of armed robbery in a June incident.

James Dansdill, 50, is accused of brandishing a handgun on the morning of June 22 when demanding money from the Piccadilly on Arnould Boulevard, according to the Lafayette Police Department.

Employees told police a man entered the business and loitered in the lobby before robbing the restaurant of an undisclosed amount of cash. Video surveillance images captured the man in the act.

Dansdill remained in the Lafayette Parish jail on Friday afternoon in lieu of $250,000 bail.
