A man wanted in a May 13 shooting at the Pontalba Place apartment complex was booked Wednesday on three counts of attempted second-degree murder.

Damion Nash, 21, is accused of firing at a vehicle carrying three people as it left the complex where he lived, in the 200 block of Marigny Circle, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office said. One person suffered a minor injury in the shooting.

Nash’s arrest follows the May 27 fatal shooting of 26-year-old Brandon Lyons in the same apartment complex, but authorities have not said whether the two shootings are related.

Jeremy James Authorlee, 38, of Opelousas, was arrested the same day on a count of second-degree murder in Lyons’ killing. Authorlee remained in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on Wednesday in lieu of a $250,000 bail.

Nash also remained in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on Wednesday morning. Bail had not been set.
