LAFAYETTE —Vanessa Hill, an associate professor of management at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, is conducting an online survey on ethics in the workplace.
The information will be used to create a database, study trends and develop tools for business and industry, university officials said in a news release. “Because a lot of people may be uneasy about talking about workplace integrity, using an online forum is a good way to gather information,” Hill said in the news release.
Hill first administered the survey in 2010 and received responses from 376 members of the Greater Lafayette Chamber of Commerce.
“That’s a good sample size, because the chamber includes about 2,000 businesses,” Hill said. “The more information we collect, the more useful it will be, because larger amounts of data lend themselves to deeper analysis.”
