Area school superintendents will discuss their respective school districts’ goals and challenges for the new academic school year during the Acadiana Press Club’s monthly forum on Monday.
Superintendents who confirmed they will attend are Acadia Parish’s John Bourque, Iberia’s Dale Henderson, Jefferson Davis’ Brian LeJeune, Lafayette’s Donald Aguillard, St. Landry’s Ed Brown, St. Martin’s Lottie Beebe, St. Mary’s Leonard Armato and Vermilion’s Jerome Puyau. Evangeline Parish Superintendent Toni Hamlin has also been invited.
Held in The Daily Advertiser’s first floor community room on the third Monday of each month, the forum is open to the general public. However, only members of the working media and Acadiana Press Club members may ask questions during the forum.
The Bus Stop Food Truck will have lunch available for purchase, and attendees are encouraged to arrive at 11:45 a.m. to buy lunch before the forum begins at noon.
