LAFAYETTE — The Lafayette Parish School Board will continue its discussions about its superintendent search at its 5:30 p.m. meeting Wednesday.
The selection process for superintendent is on the meeting’s agenda.
Superintendent Burnell Lemoine’s contract expires Dec. 31. The board has set a tentative timeline to select a replacement by Dec. 7.
The board will also discuss a committee’s recommendation to hire partnering firms CSRS Inc. of Baton Rouge and Architects Southwest of Lafayette to manage the implementation of the first phase of its facilities master plan. A $561 million bond proposal to fund the major construction goes to voters on Oct. 22.
The district only received one proposal for the construction program management job.
According to the agenda, the School Board may go into executive session to discuss advertisement for the acting principal position at Northside High School.
