LAFAYETTE — The Lafayette Parish School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at 113 Chaplin Drive.
The board will decide whether to approve a program that targets over-age fifth-grade students.
The program would begin later this month with 40 students with preference given to over-age fifth-graders from Alice Boucher Elementary and J.W. Faulk Elementary — two schools on the state’s academic watch list for low performance scores.
