The top two seeds, Lafayette High and Comeaux, advanced to the North-Central-Southwest biregional in Bossier City on March 30 following regional play at Lafayette Lanes on Monday.
In the Open Division, Lafayette downing St. Thomas More, 26-1 and Comeaux defeated Breaux Bridge 23-4. The two losers will bowl for the final spot in Bossier City. Lafayette’s Jeremy Hardeman had games of 201-206, while Comeaux was paced by Michael Rachal with 226-248.
On the girls side, Lafayette also advanced with a 23.5-3.5 win over Breaux Bridge as Johanna Trahan had games of 173-177.
Teurlings Catholic took down Comeaux in the other advancing match 22.5-4.5 with Lindsey Speer leading the way with a 181 game.
