Miss. sportswriter fired for harsh words against Cajuns _lowres

The dates and times have been set for the Lafayette super regional.

UL-Lafayette, the No. 6 national seed in the NCAA baseball tournament, will host Ole Miss at 7 p.m. Saturday and 8 p.m. Sunday in the best-of-three format. Should a third game be necessary, that would be played at 6 p.m. Monday.

All three games will be televised on ESPN2.

The third game time and ESPN network is subject to change.

The winner of the super regional advances to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. According to the NCAA, the determination of the CWS order of first-round games June 14-15 will be announced June 9.
